The Year 5 students at Redland Bay State School are currently studying a unit on Inventions. The students are learning that inventions usually grow from materials and ideas in the world around us and also involve knowledge of Mathematics and Science. A new Science kit using magnets was presented to groups of students recently and they were asked to create something that involved Maths and Science, and then explain what it could be used for.
